Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I witnessed the devastating effects of the pandemic as countless people lost their lives. Witnessing so much loss led me to contemplate disasters, and I began to learn about the worst disaster in American history. Despite the tragedies that we face, we come together to support each other and work towards recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of those who have passed away.
